Autonomous backend for AI programming agents
Backenly is a backend service specially prepared for programming agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex. The agent directly builds databases, tables, and interfaces on it through MCP. The bottom layer is real Postgres, with REST API, user authentication, file storage, and real-time push.
The biggest difference between it and ordinary BaaS is the "cover-up": every structural change will be verified first, and any step can be undone independently; destructive operations such as deleting tables and changing permissions will not be executed automatically and will hang up waiting for your confirmation. It can fix minor everyday problems on its own.
It is suitable for independent developers and small teams who use AI to write full-stack applications but are worried about the agent accidentally deleting production data. The project is open source, with free files, and the Pro version is paid monthly.
