A programming agent that automatically selects models step by step
ML.ai is an AI-powered programming assistant, with the slogan “A programming helper whose ‘quota’ will never run out.” Whether you assign it a task involving bug fixes, a set of testing activities, or a code migration project that spans an entire week, it will carefully analyze the entire code repository, break down the task into individual steps, automatically select the most appropriate model for each step, and then execute the necessary tests and submit pull requests accordingly.
One of its more restrained features is that all changes are first presented to you in the form of a diff report; unless you click “Allow”, they will not be saved to disk. In addition to using the terminal, tasks can also be initiated and progress monitored through IDEs, GitHub, or web interfaces. It also supports setting up regular tasks (Routines) for activities such as weekly dependency audits or morning CI checks, and it allows teams to document and share their own technical skills.
It is compatible with macOS, Linux, and Windows. Currently, it is in the beta testing phase and is initially available to users in India; users in other regions need to join the waiting list. This product is particularly suitable for developers who are already using tools such as Claude Code or Codex but are limited by the capacity of a single model.
