This is an assistive tool designed to counter the trend of unverified absurd claims on the internet, especially on Reddit. It uses generative AI to analyze Reddit comments, extract claims, retrieve information from provided sources, and verify whether those claims are supported by the sources.
How do I use the Reddit Claim Validator AI Chrome extension/plugin?
The tool adds a "Verify Claim" button to legacy Reddit comments that contain links. Clicking this button launches an analysis to extract the claim, retrieve source information, and check whether the claim is substantiated.
