Myoelectric cuff data for training robots
What Axonnic sells is not robots, but data for training robots. It has made an electromyography (EMG) sleeve worn on the forearm to record how skilled workers do delicate work. The force and fingertip pressure that cannot be captured by the camera can be collected, and then used to train dexterous hands.
Official data: Tracking fingers based on forearm signals only, with an average joint angle error of 4.58°, 50 predictions per second, 78 minutes of data training, and comparison with Apple Vision Pro's hand tracking.
It has been invested in Y Combinator and is currently being piloted for manufacturing companies. It is not available to ordinary users.
