Photo date stamp (PixPix)

Introduction

The row of orange numbers in the lower right corner comes from a point-and-shoot camera from the film era - a small LED in the body exposes the date directly on the edge of the film, so the color is fluorescent, the fonts are of equal width, and there is a little overexposed glow at the edge. This function disappeared in the digital age, but it has returned as an aesthetic in the past two years.

Most similar tools are marked with "today", which has only decorative meaning. This method reads the EXIF shooting date of each photo one by one, and digs out the travel photos from three years ago for batch processing. Each photo corresponds to the day when the shutter was actually pressed.

Four date formats, four fluorescent colors of orange, red, yellow and white - in the early years, the date stamp colors of different brands were originally different. The numbers are in a fixed-width font with the burning glow of the CCD, rather than simply stacking a line of text. The entire photo album is processed and packaged in ZIP at once.

For screenshots, pictures saved by WeChat, and pictures compressed by the platform, the EXIF has mostly been erased. If you cannot read the date, you have to specify it manually. If you want to keep the shooting information, import the original image directly from the album instead of using social media to transfer it.
