Teable puts spreadsheets and AI together with the goal of replacing scattered spreadsheets and legacy systems in companies.
The best examples of its usage are the several sample instructions given by the official website: throw in a bunch of gas receipts, catering invoices and PDF bills and let it extract the merchant, address, category, date, amount and tax amount; extract the buyer, contact person, term, payment terms, applicable law and signing date in the sales contract into a table; organize a batch of resumes into candidate files, listing skills, recent achievements and shortcomings together; or take a feedback form and add emotional labels and a draft reply line by line.
After organizing, you don’t just stop at the form – you can easily build a small system that is actually used, such as a CRM with lead form, follow-up form and new lead notification automation. The official has prepared a batch of business templates that can be copied directly.
It is open source, has a warehouse on GitHub, supports self-hosting, and data-sensitive teams can put it on their own machines. It is suitable for small and medium-sized teams that have special business logic, are struggling to buy off-the-shelf SaaS, and don’t want to write code from scratch.
